Muse
est un groupe de rock progressif britannique apparu en 1994. Le trio est composé de Matthew Bellamy, Christopher Wolstenholme et Dominic Howard.
Le 22 septembre 2003 sort leur troisième album, Absolution, qui leur vaudra un large succès et une notoriété mondiale. L'album comporte le titre diffusé sur Internet Stockholm Syndrome, ainsi que le single Time is Running Out. Le groupe entame alors une longue tournée qui le mènera sur les plus importants festivals d'Europe et se terminera au Earl Court de Londres. Malgré cette popularité accrue en Europe, le groupe a du mal à percer sur le continent nord-américain.
Muse are a popular English rock band formed in Teignmouth, Devon in 1994. Their idiosyncratic style is a blend of indie, electronica, prog rock, heavy metal and classical music. The band is famed for its energetic live performances and frontman Matthew Bellamy's eccentric interests in global conspiracy, extraterrestrial life, theology and the apocalypse. Muse consists of Matthew Bellamy (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Dominic Howard (drums, percussion, backing vocals) and Chris Wolstenholme (bass guitar, keyboards, guitar, backing vocals). As of the release of their fourth album, Morgan Nicholls assists the band during live performances, providing additional keyboards, samples and backing vocals. lecteur baladeur
